Apple introduced new features that reach for the first time in its history to iPads, aboard its latest versions of the iPad Pro and iPad Air, which the company recently revealed at its Let Loose ceremony.
Through the new features, the company tried to improve the experience of users with its devices, both at the level of displaying content on iPad screens, as well as increasing their productivity, especially by raising the performance of device processors, in addition to putting artificial intelligence at the heart of its tablets, in addition to providing a higher level of control over fonts when drawing and writing with its Apple Pencil.
The thinnest iPad Pro ever
The American company announced that the new iPad Pro versions, with a standard of 11 inches, and 13 inches, are the thinnest devices ever in Apple's history, as the small screen version comes with a thickness of 5.3 millimeters, while the version with the largest screen is 5.1 mm thick.
Apple tried to reflect the idea of manufacturing the thinnest device in its family of smart devices, so it used a video clip of a machine that compresses a large amount of different elements and colors, and as soon as the machine raised its arm, the thinnest device in Apple's history, the iPad Pro 2024, came out.
Screen with nanoparticles
For the first time, Apple is introducing Nano-texture Glass technology to iPads, aboard this year's iPad Pro, with 1TB and 2TB storage options.
Nano-particle screen glass technology enables superior resolution for content display, as well as reduced reflections of light falling on the screen, while using iPad Pro 2024 under direct light, providing better eye comfort with use.
Apple introduced this feature for the first time in August 2022 with the launch of the Display Studio device, and accompanied it with a cloth dedicated to organizing this screen to maintain the quality of display, and most likely users of the new iPad Pro devices will need the same fabric to take care of the screen of their new devices.
M4 processor.. Unique graphical features
With the new M4 processor, the iPad Pro 2024 has received features that elevate the graphics display on their screens to a whole new level, as the GPU on board the new Apple processor chip allows Dynamic Caching and Mesh Shading features.
The two new features first arrived on Mac computers with an M3 processor earlier this year, but with the M4, these features arrive for the first time to iPads.
The advantage of Dynamic Caching is the ability to direct the required capacity of RAM to each application that the user runs, which maintains the speed of computer performance, and not wasting "memory", while the second Mesh Shading allows processing scenes graphics with high accuracy, especially if it includes small elements, and depends on a component within the GPU along with improvements at the programmatic level.
Apple Pencil Pro.. A smarter pen
For the first time, Apple provided its new Apple Pencil Pro with an unprecedented level of control, by adding a sensor that captures the user's pressure level on the external pen structure when writing and drawing, to facilitate the choice between different digital pen shapes.
With the addition of a Gyroscope sensor inside the pen, users can easily control the rotation and thickness of lines, before writing with the pen on its drawing or writing area in any shape, providing a smooth, streamlined experience and a wider space for creativity.
The company added for the first time the Find My feature to find lost items to its smart pen, making it easier for the user to track the location of his pen if he lost it, by using the service application on his iPhone or any of his smart devices.
iPad Air. Bigger screen
The company surprised its audience with a completely new measurement of the versions of iPad Air, and introduced the 13-inch size for the first time to its family of tablets that are cheaper compared to the "iPad Pro", as the family of leading tablets "Pro" continued for many years to acquire the option of the largest screen.
