Google has announced a new update to its presentation creation service "Slides", and this update includes the addition of a variety of modern professionally designed templates, which helps users create presentations more quickly and easily. These templates are designed to meet the diverse needs of users, ranging from sales pitches to product plans and strategic planning, making them extremely useful for business users.
Google also provides templates suitable for use in the educational field, to display lesson plans, book reports, projects and other templates. The new set of templates can be accessed through the new "Templates" button in the "Slides" toolbar, or via the "Insert" menu. After choosing the right template, users can insert all the slides from the template or slides they need, and then customize them with their own content.
Google points out that this step is only the beginning towards making the process of creating templates easier, and the company confirmed that it plans to launch more high-quality templates in the coming months.
It should be noted that these templates are currently only available to users who have language settings set to "English (United States)", and if the programs are set to another language, these new templates may not appear, knowing that Google will make them available later for all languages. These templates will be available to all Google Workspace subscribers, as well as free personal account holders this November.
