It supports 4K recording up to 60fps and 6K oversampled UHD 4K 60p video. The camera is equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II for fast and accurate autofocus, with the ability to track people, animals, and vehicles, even in low light.

The camera offers HDR PQ and Canon Log 3 video recording options for rich color and dynamic range, and can be used for Full HD live streaming via USB with applications like Zoom and Skype. It features 5-axis Movie Digital IS for stable handheld video recording. The 3.0-inch LCD touchscreen has a 1.62 million-dot resolution and is fully articulating, while the 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides clear, high-resolution eye-level viewing.

Additionally, the camera offers multiple connectivity options, including USB-C, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for remote control and file transfers. It has a microphone input and headphone jack for audio monitoring, and supports various accessories through the new Multi-Function Shoe.
