 is a compact, entry-level DSLR with a 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor, delivering high-resolution images, reduced noise, and an ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to 12800). It offers continuous shooting at 3 fps and Full HD 1080/30p video recording. The 9-point AF system includes a cross-type point for better accuracy, and the camera also features Wi-Fi with NFC for wireless sharing and remote control.

Included is the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens, offering a 28.8-88mm focal length with Optical Image Stabilizer for steady handheld shots. The camera also includes Scene Intelligent Auto mode, Creative Filters, and EOS Webcam Utility software for live streaming. A 3.0" 920k-dot LCD provides clear playback, and it’s compatible with Canon EF and EF-S lenses.
